Dev Samaj College of Education organizes ‘Hunar Utsav’

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) and Entrepreneurship Cell in Collaboration with NSS units of Dev Samaj College of Education(DSCE), Sector 36B, Chandigarh, organized ‘Hunar Utsav’ on the college’s campus. The event featured an array of stalls offering a delightful blend of fun, food, games, and shopping, and it also attracted participation from numerous schools from across the region. The college hosted the event to help youth imbibe cultural values and provide a platform to promote entrepreneurial skills amongst the student community. Students of DSCE and even from outside got an opportunity to put up stalls.

The event was inaugurated by Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon, Chairman, Dev Samaj and Dr.(Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon Secretary, Dev Samaj and College Management. Dr. (Mrs.) Richa Sharma, Officiating Principal, DSCE was also present.

The various stalls at the event had something for everyone, making it a memorable experience for visitors of all ages. The event featured stalls selling exquisite home décor items and more. The participation of various schools brought a special vibrancy to the event, as students put up entertaining performances, cultural displays, and interactive activities.

The event also saw the Vada Club and NSS units of Dev Samaj College of Education organizing an Anti-Drug Signature campaign – ‘Hastaakshar Campaign’. This activity aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and prevent substance misuse, especially among youth.
