Artistes from Desi Rangmanch staged Hindi play Ek Aur Dronacharya at Navrang Theatre, Bal Bhawan, Sector 23 on Sunday. Written by Shankar Shesh and directed by Sachin Sharma, the story compares the Dronacharya of the epic Mahabharat to modern day teachers Arvind and Vimlendu, who accept defeat at the hands of the rotten system. Sanjay, Jyoti, Mukesh, Hira acted their roles to perfection among other artistes.
The seven-day festival will conclude on July 27 and will witness some fine presentations from the leading theatre groups.
On July 22, Drishti Club will stage the play Sankraman.
