On the occasion of ‘Chhath Puja’, NGO Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation organised the 87th ‘Bhandara’ , or community kitchen, at Industrial Area Phase 1 here. The ‘Bhandara’ was held under the guidance  of Amitabh Rungta, a social worker and founder of the NGO.

On this occasion,  Rungta said that in ‘Chhath Puja’, ‘Sun God’ and ‘Shashthi Mata’ are worshiped and it is a four-day festival.
