A Blood Donation Camp was organized in Moti Ram Arya Sr. Sec. Model School Sector 27– A, as its annual feature to commemorate and to pay homage to the great visionary – Late Sh. Hardyal Mahajan, on the occasion of his 23rdDeath Anniversary . It was organized in collaboration with the P.G.I Blood Transfusion Society .The Camp was inaugurated by Ms. Neha Yadav, ASP, Col. V K Sheron& Chief Patron of the school Mrs. Shakuntla Mahajan It went on from 9.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m.
There was an overwhelming response for the noble cause.Parents and old students of the school donated blood very enthusiastically. Lions club & HDFC Bank Central also came forward for the purpose. 272 donors donated blood which includes NCC cadets The school authorities Mrs. Rachna Mahajan, Director,Manager cum Trustee of the school Mrs Uma Bhanot, Advisor Mrs. Saroj Savant& Principal Dr. Seema Biji and all the members of the staff were present.
Besides this, Free Medical/Health Check ups were also conducted and near by people got advantage of this camp . The camp was a grand success.
