NSS and Youth Service Club, DAV College Chandigarh today organized” Awareness Programme on the evils of drug abuse and illicit Trafficking”. The program was conducted by Narcotic Control Bureau, Zonal Unit, Chandigarh. Sh Kaustubh Sharma, IPS, Zonal Director/Dy.Inspector General NCB delivered the talk and interacted with the students. He explained the reasons why youth resort to substance abuse and what is being done to curb the menace of substance abuse. Students raised many queries which he satisfactorily replied being a qualified doctor himself. The program was attended by the othe officials of NCB, Program Officers of NSS, Members of Youth Club, Staff members, NSS Volunteers and other students of the college. Principal Dr. B.C. Josan lauded the efforts of NSS Unit and Youth Service Club of the college for creating awareness about this growing evil in the society.
